Fourth gig of the tour.

Hi everybody, Uriah Heep
at Manchester University has got to be one of the most memorable for
me. A sold out concert-the atmospere was electric from word go, only
to get more intense and exciting with every number played as Mr Box
and Co. worked the crowd into a frenzy. The sound was perfect from
word go, without any of the usual feedback or adjustments you get used
to at concerts. No need to go through the play list, enough to say
every song was tightly played with passion and
enthusiasm,"Universal Wheels" "Between Two Worlds"
and "Come away Malinda" were the high spots for me. Though
not up to the official standard, I think my photo's capture the
atmosphere as everyone wanted to take a piece of Heep home. Mick Box
is a pure gentleman as he met me back stage to complete the ambition
of my life. Uriah Heep for ever,
Adrian

I had to e-mail you
after seeing Uriah Heep in Manchester recently as it was just such
a brilliant gig ! I saw them first in 1982 at Castle Donington
when Status Quo headlined , ah those were the days !
At the time I thought
they were the best band on the line up even though they were about
the third band on with an unwarmed up Castle Donington crowd to
contend with . I have to admit that I had not seem them live since
, which if any one does their sums is nineteen years ago ! I liked
them for the same reasons as I do now as they were a band with a
big heart with big songs . They opened up in Manchester with
Return To Fantasy and indeed it was as I was sixteen again and if
any band can make you feel like that they must be good . I can
only wish the band the best for the future and I will try not to
leave so long again before I see them .

Saw Heep last night in Manchester.
Brilliant gig, first saw Heep in 70, and have managed 8 or so gigs
since, bought all early albums, then dipped into 80's onwards. Always
cite them as a fave and brilliant live act. Last night was one of the
best. My neck will throb for a week or so. Thanks guys. Great to see
the wide age range in the audience and that there are plenty of new
Heepsters. The "Sold Out" signs were evidence that there's
plenty Heep lovers out there. Good luck for the rest of the tour and I
certainly hope to see you same venue or bigger next year. Thanks to
Stray and Nazareth for great support.
