Arnold de Wit happens to be Hollands most fanatic hardrocker. During the eighties and nineties he never missed the major hardrockfestivals. Donington, Reading, Dynamo open air, Pinkpop...you name it.

Thats why he owns those unique pictures of Uriah Heep backstage at the Heavy Soundfestival in Belgium 1983.

Thanks to Arnold for sharing these rare pic's.

Uriah Heep at the time just said goodbye to bassplayer  Bob Daisley who did the albums Abominog & Head First with Mick Box, Lee Kerslake, Pete Goalby and John Sinclair. The band welcomed Trevor Bolder back who had a one album adventure with Wishbone Ash. This 'new' line up appeared in Belgium in the typical eighties hard rock style.  Uriah Heep shared the stage with bands like Gary Moore, Accept, and  Ostrogoth......

Mick Box

Just back from Wishbone Ash: Trevor Bolder. He never left Heep again...
